Decorating

This is the time of year I get really wrapped up in traditions and just let them envelope me. My parents instilled in me a deep love and gratitude for really wonderful traditions. This thought sums up a lot for me at this time of year. (And, we were just talking about it yesterday. Even putting lights on the tree, as much as I complain about it, brings cherished years of hanging lights swirling back to me. It's my least favorite part of decorating, but it is still decorating, and I'd take putting lights on the tree over about a million other things I could be doing.)
